    Personal:  Dr. Fullerton was born and raised in California.  He is married to Cristina and they have two beautiful children- Cara and George.  Their family also includes lots of pets.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time at the coast.

    Personal:  Dr. Hagood is married to Hallie and they have three wonderful children- Hannah, L.T., and Hank.  They have two dogs- "Hammer" and "Dexter" and four horses- "PD", "Drifter" "Cody" and "Loper".  Dr. Hagood owned and operated a veterinary practice in Tuscumbia, Alabama before returning to Auburn to further his education in the areas of pathobiology and epidemiology.  While at Auburn, he worked with the Alabama State Veterinarian's office in the animal disease diagnostics and control department.  After completing his M.S., Dr. Hagood joined North Florida Animal Hospital.  In his spare time, Dr. Hagood enjoys camping, riding horses, fishing, and hunting.

    Personal:  Dr. Justice was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.  She has been married to Ross Obley since 1982.  They have a polydactyl cat named Zevon.  Dr. Justice enjoys hiking, kayaking, bird watching and traveling with friends and family.

    Dr. Fricke has also been a Band Parent and a 4H mom for 5 years, and is an instructor in children's Tae Kwon do.

    Personal:  Dr. Fricke's family consists of her enigmatic husband, Rob, her quick-witted son, Daniel, Clash the dog and Emily the cat.  After practicing for 25 years in the Arizona desert, she is thrilled to be in Tallahassee where she can grow something other than cactus in her garden.  At present her backyard contains no chickens, goats or horses but no one expects it to stay that way for long!

    Personal:  Dr. Ammermon enjoys all outdoor activities including camping, hiking, snow skiing, white water kayaking/rafting, running, fishing and going to the beach.  He spends his spare time with his fiance Myra, who is a veterinarian.  He has two dogs "Coal" (Whippet/Terrier mix) and "Rudy" (Jack Russell Terrier).  They are both rescue dogs.

  • Heather Terhune , D.V.M.

    Personal:  Dr. Terhune grew up in the mountains of North Alabama, where her family still resides.  After graduating from Auburn in 2001 she married Theron Terhune.  She previously worked in Athens, Georgia while her husband finished his doctorate at UGA.  He is now working on his post-doctorate at Tall Timbers Research Station in quail management.  Dr. Terhune enjoys being outside:  backpacking, jumping on the trampoline, riding her Vespa and playing with her two dogs.  "Dunebuggy" is a rambunctious Boston Terrier and "Dribbles" is a loving English Bulldog.  When it rains Dr. Terhune enjoys being inside reading her favorite book cuddled up with one or all of her four cats. 
    Her veterinary interests are ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery.  She looks forward to discovering the rich outdoor life North Florida has to offer.

  • Mrs. Beth S Thomas

    Beth is our Hospital Director.  She started out as a veterinary technician and then appointed the Hospital Director.  Her duties include, but are not limited to, training, scheduling and motivating the entire clinic staff. As inventory specialist, she is in charge of researching new products as well as maintaining current stock levels. 
     
    Beth is married to Eric and they have a beautiful baby girl Ava Grace.  In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with friends.  She has two beautiful bichons "Mani" and "Bosley" and an energetic pit bull named "Buddy".

  • Alice P Malone

    Alice is our hospital's financial administrator.  She has been with North Florida Animal Hospital since 1992.  Alice's many duties include accounting, budgeting, and human resources. Her twenty years of business and marketing experience in Tallahasssee is an asset to our hospital.
     
     Alice is married and they have a beautiful daughter. In her free time, Alice enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her many pets.  She enjoys volunteering through her church and playing bunco!

  • Jeff Hatcher


    Jeff is a great part of our technician team.  He comes to us with 3 years of prior technical experience.  He also has experience as a kennel technician and a laboratory technician.  Jeff assists the doctors with the CT Scan.  We are pleased to have such a talented and skilled employee on our team. 
    When Jeff isn't working, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dog Chopper and English Cocker Spaniel Cole.

  • Leigh Waters


    Leigh is our Head Technician.  Her duties include managing the technician staff, hiring, and training.  She also assits the doctors with the CT Scan. 

    When Leigh is not working she enjoys spending time with her two dogs "Hutch" and "Blue". She also likes to cook and work outside in her garden.

  • Courtney Judson


    Courtney is an integral part of our technician team.  She comes to us with seven years of veterinary technician experience.  Courtney is responsible for assisting the doctors with all aspects of patient care.  She also assists in surgery.

    In her spare time, she enjoys the ocean and the outdoors.  She has a handsome puppy named "Sulley",  three cats- "Darla", "Nugget" and "Birdman" and two ferrets- "Sage" and "Seymour".

  • Marcus Pellino


    Education:  Tallhassee Community College
                         AA General Studies
     
    Marcus has been with North Florida Animal Hospital since 2002.  He is an experienced and compassionate technician.  He assists the doctors with a wide range of veterinary care, including the CT Scan. He has joined the surgical technician staff.
     
    When Marcus has time off he enjoys spending time with his friends and family as well as his boxers, Shortie and Gotti.

  • Cathy Zych


    Cathy is our Canine Rehabilitator.  She provides rehabilitation in the underwater treadmill for patients with a variety of issues.  She provides the highest level of care for any patient that she comes in contact with.  She is a great asset and we are pleased to have her on our team.
     
    Cathy is married and has two children.  When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her animals.

    Samantha is planning to become a veterinarian.  She has four shelties ("Murphy", "Casey", "Coach" and "Bobbie") and two turtles ("Bubble" and "Frankling").

    Melanie is a wonderful addition to our technician staff.  She is responsible for all aspects of patient care and assisting the doctors.

    Melanie comes from a big family.  She enjoys deer hunting, fishing, shooting skeet, riding horses, barrel racing and hanging out with my friends.  She has two horses:  "Sandman" and "Breeze", a Boxer named "Jackson" and a Labrador Retriever Mix named "Major".

  • Christine Johnson

    Christine is our head receptionist. She worked here previoulsy from 1994-1999. She came back to the clinic in May of 2005. Her duties include hiring, training and scheduling the entire reception staff.
     
    Christine is married with one son. In her spare time she enjoys riding and showing cutting horses and listening to her favorite band Duran Duran.  She also enjoys spending time with her many pets.

    Constance is our head receptionist.  She has been with our team since 1998.   She has evolved to become a very valuable staff member at North Florida Animal Hospital.  Her duties include, assisting the hospital director with hiring, training and scheduling the entire reception staff.  She is knowledgable in every aspect of customer service/client relations and a great asset to our hospital. She will be happy to assist you with any questions you might have.
     
    In her time off, Constance likes to spend time with her friends and her two pets, JD and Chloe.

    Kay is a receptionist with three years of experience.  Since coming to North Florida Animal Hospital, Kay has proven that she has what it takes to be a first rate employee.  Kay is a strong asset to our company.
     
    In Kay's spare time she loves going to the beach and hanging out at the lake. She enjoys spending time with her three dogs "Brahma, "Lucy-Lou" and "Betty" and her cat "Hank".

    Taylor is a great part of our kennel staff.  He is responsible for the care of our boarding patients. 

    In his spare time, Taylor enjoys hunting, most particularly pheasant and turkey, as well as fishing.  He enjoys training and working with his yellow Labrador Retriever Georgia.  He is looking forward to taking her to Kansas this year for her first pheasant hunt.

    Kimberly is originally from North Carolina.  She is currently pursuing a career in animal care.  She has a cat named "Trouble", a black lab "Lexie and a collie/lab mix "Misty".
